The Board Administrator will provide Board/Committee meeting record-keeping, compliance, and logistical support. The Administrator will also perform bookkeeping, fundraising, and administrative support functions for the EDC, its member entities, and related Boards.

GENERAL DUTIES

1. Coordinate Board and Committee meetings for up to five entities, draft related agendas/minutes, and assemble/disseminate/maintain all meeting materials and records.

2. Participate in Month-End Close accounting procedures for all EDC member entities. (Execute some basic checks, balances, and reconciliations)

3. Perform back-up duties for the EDC Receptionist.

4. Provide support for the fundraising efforts of the Aspire Clarksville Foundation

5. Assist the EDC CEO with meetings/calendar planning as well as preparing and coding monthly expense reports.

6. Assist V/P of Marketing and Communications with quarterly investor relations events.

7. Other accounting and human resource tasks as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED

1. Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills

2. Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft O365 Software Suite, other communications and collaboration software programs

3. Information management and organizational skills

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Proven success providing meeting support and related record-keeping (public meetings a plus).

2. Minimum Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience in relevant field

3. Prefer 1 year experience in accounting/bookkeeping or a related field

4. Highly detail oriented

5. Professional appearance and telephone presence

6. Ability to work well with all levels of internal and external contacts

OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

1. With ample warning, ability to work an occasional early morning or evening meetings

*Non-exempt employees receive an hourly wage, are subject to wage and hour laws, and are compensated for overtime hours (generally in the form of compensatory time off).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,000.00 – $39,000.00 per year
