Minimum Requirements

Promotes Metalpha's Guiding Principles through coaching and personal example

Assists the Controller in the management of the Finance Department

Establishes, or recommends to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives and policies for the Company

Works with department managers and corporate staff to develop five year business plans

Prepares reports which summarize and forecast Company business activities and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations

Complies with USGAAP, Sox, and JSox

Implements and monitors internal controls

Assists in preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification to parent company

Assists Controller in the preparation compliance on tax, insurance, etc. and insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities

Works with external auditors to develop transfer pricing documentation, cost segregations and valuation allowances

Assists the Controller in establishing intercompany lending/financing agreements

Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities

Recommends modifications to existing corporate programs

Establish and implement short and long range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets

Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions

Assure corporate income tax compliance to ensure accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns taking full advantages of all favorable tax codes

Assists Controller in establishing and maintaining systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company’s value

Recommends and advises top management of strategic benefit plans. Works closely with the HR Manager by reviewing financial impact to company business

Arranges for audits of Company's accounts

Respond to Controller with accurate and timely work to facilitate his/her financial needs

Supports expatriate transfer from/to parent company. Administers expatriate’s compensation and benefits based upon parent company’s policy

Recommends modifications to existing Finance/Accounting programs according to the policies directed by the parent company for the purpose of consolidated financials

Job Description

Provides leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debts financing, cash investments, and budget management functions. Ensures company accounting procedures comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Maintains positive team member relations.
