Florim is looking for a Social Media Specialist to work on in our Marketing Department.  The ideal candidate has experience managing social media marketing strategies, including the promotion on ongoing organic content, amplification of our brand identity, and the growth of our engaged community across all platforms.

  • Responsible for creating and administering monthly MILE®stone newsletter (via Mailchimp)
  • Play a key role on the marketing team in creating and contributing to digital, advertising, and marketing strategies on all social media platforms
  • Work closely with the design team to capture content for use across various channels, purposes, and goals.  Content must be planned/evaluated against strategic goals to ensure content distributed is on brand and driving momentum to achieve goals
  • Understands the targeted audience for each social channel
  • Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling in line with promotions, campaigns, and brand strategy to further build brand familiarity
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML)
  • Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialog and messaging
  • Assist in the creation and operation of online community, develop online campaigns, maintain and improve community engagement
  • Performs research of social media to use in the ceramic tile industry
  • Understands competitors’ strategies
  • Researches connections with influencers related to interior design industry
  • Be on top of the latest digital marketing trends
  • Monitor site metrics, respond to reader comments, and oversee creative design
  • Monitors profitability and performance of existing products and services
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing and social media that delivered growth

Motivated, professional, and flexible with the ability to react quickly when the need arises.

Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

Knowledge of project management and web design best practices

Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.

Ability to effectively present marking information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers

Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven track record

Effective creative thinking, analytical, entrepreneurial spirit, problem-solving, results-oriented, and decision-making skills
