The Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) serves as the premier supplier of workforce development throughout the State of Tennessee. The programs offered by the Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology allow students to acquire marketable skills for entry into the labor market, or upgrade the present skills and knowledge of persons already employed. TCAT programs work to meet the present and anticipated needs of the business and industrial community and incorporate appropriate work habits and attitudes into their occupational programs. Instructional methods are individualized and competency-based, with students beginning on an individual level, with students exiting when specified competencies are met.
